Our Menu

Our range of dishes is carefully chosen to be as authentic as possible whilst allowing us to create them as consistently as possible so every time you dine with us it tastes as good as last time. All ingredients are freshly prepared daily and any excess food a the end of service is allocated to ‘Too Good to Go’. The menu doesn’t remain static and is freshened up with specials and additions throughout the year. Check out the current menu below

A burrito is found in both Tex-Mex and Mexican cuisines, it consists of a 7” flour or corn tortilla rolled into a sealed cylindrical shape around various ingredient. The tortilla is then lightly grilled to soften it and seal the wrap together. Burritos can be eaten by hand or with a knife and fork.
The Burritos filling is usually savoury as chicken beef or vegetarian is often served with other filling ingredients such as rice, refried beans, with vegetables such as lettuce and tomatoes and condiments such as cheese sauce, salsa, guacamole and sour cream.

A fajita is from the Tex-Mex cuisine and was used to originally refer to skirt steak served as a taco on a flour or corn tortilla. Nowadays alternative meats used include chicken as well as tiger prawns or fajitas can be served meat-free. The meat is usually cooked with onions and bell peppers and spice. Additional condiments include lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, pico de gallo, grated cheese and refried beans.  Each fajita meal is served with 4 tortillas, more are available on request.

Nachos originated in northern Mexico and consist of heated tortilla chips covered with melted cheese (or a cheese-based sauce), often served as a snack or a main course. The dish was created by Ignacio “El Nacho” Anaya in 1940. The original nachos consisted of fried corn tortilla chips covered with melted cheese and sliced jalapeño peppers.
The nachos at Acapulco Cantina come with refried beans and salsa with as much and as strong spice as you like.

Taco is a traditional Mexican dish consisting of a 7” corn or wheat tortilla topped with a combination of fillings. The tortilla is folded around the filling and consumed by hand. Tacos can be soft shell or hard shell (fried). Here at Acapulco Cantina we serve soft shells and on a Thursday we offer three tacos for a tenner.
The range of fillings includes beef, chicken, beans, vegetables, and cheese, resulting in some fabulous taste combinations.  They are often garnished with condiments, such as salsa, sour cream, pico de galo, guacamole, refried beans and vegetables, such as tomato, lettuce and spicy sauces.

A Quesadilla is a Mexican dish resembling a type of sandwich that consists of a cheese-filled tortilla with a meat, vegetables and spices then cooked on a griddle. A corn or flour tortilla can be used.
A full quesadilla is a single large tortilla that has been filled with cheese and folded into a half-moon shape. A quick version of the quesadilla, the cheese tortilla, is microwaved and often served to children. We serve both sizes at Acapulco Cantina.
